Spirit Night/Wheeler Jr Lax - Zaxby’s

Great win today 6-4. Go Wildcats!

The Wheeler Jr. Lacrosse program serves youth in the elementary and middle school grades including those who live in the Wheeler High School district.  The program fields teams for boys in the 4th through 8th grades.   We participate in both the Metro Atlanta Youth Lacrosse Association and Atlanta Youth Lacrosse for season games and additional end-of-season tournaments.

Our WHEELER JUNIOR WILDCAT LACROSSE ASSOCIATION is pleased to announce that we received grants from Major League Lacrosse and US Lacrosse to assist the team in achieving its goals!   Major League Lacrosse (“MLL”) awarded its first Community Grant and recognized our Wildcats on August 3, 2019, at the game between the Atlanta Blaze and Dallas Rattlers at Atlanta Silverbacks Stadium. Our Wildcat team has made tremendous progress in promoting the sport and developing players in a community where lacrosse is not well known.  We are delighted that the leaders in our sport recognize the hard work done by our kids, and that they are rewarded this effort with their financial commitment to the program.

Fall 2019 fees are $200 plus the cost of a game jersey ($25 non-refundable).  Payment Plans and limited Financial Aid are available.

Boys must provide their own:

Water bottle, cleats, mouth guard, protective cup, stick, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves & navy shorts for game day.

For those players who do not already own equipment, the Wheeler Jr. Lacrosse program has a limited amount of pads, helmets, and sticks available for loan to get a new player started. However, we ask that you quickly assemble a set of the required gear and high recommend AJO4LAX ( if you plan to rent gear for the season.
